It is natural Iceland moss that is preserved with glycerin/mineral salts, allowing it to retain its natural properties for years: soft, flexible, and color-intensive.
No. Preserved moss must not be watered or sprayed. Instead, it reacts to the room’s humidity. If humidity stays above 40%, the material remains soft and flexible. If it drops below that, it may become dry and brittle. Permanent humidity above 70% must also be avoided.
No. Natural Icelandic lichen is usually brownish or greyish. Our moss is dyed green with food coloring. During installation, the color may rub off when touched. The dye is water-soluble and can easily be washed off your hands.
No. Preserved moss does not attract insects and, unlike living plants, does not need soil or water.
Since the moss no longer blooms and does not release pollen, it is safe for allergy sufferers. At first, the moss may still have its natural scent. This is harmless and fades over time. Preserved moss is also antistatic and does not attract dust.
The Iceland moss used has fire protection class B1, meaning it is flame-retardant.
Moss logos can be delivered within 15–16 working days. Express delivery takes 10 working days.
Under ideal indoor conditions, preserved moss lasts for many years, often 5 to 10+ years, without losing its color or structure.
Moss logos are suitable for indoor use only. Direct, permanent UV exposure causes the colors to fade and the material to dry out. Moss logos must not be installed near fireplaces, radiators, or other heat sources.
We currently only offer the green shade shown in the configurator. On request, you can also order only the empty carrier and fill it yourself with other moss colors.
Yes. Empty carriers without moss filling are available with standard shipping in about 9 to 10 working days, or with express shipping in about 5 working days.
No. We do not offer installation as a service, but your cut-out is delivered ready for mounting. Apart from simple standard tools, everything you need for straightforward installation is included, along with clear instructions and free mounting templates.
Self-adhesive versions come with a positioning template, and the adhesive pads are already applied to the elements so installation is as simple and precise as possible.
Versions with spacers include a drilling template and pre-mounted fixing elements on the back. On site, these only need to be inserted into the corresponding wall-mounted counterparts.
The best mounting method mainly depends on the surface and the desired look.

5 Sterne und das mehr als zu Recht. Der Kundenservice war richtig gut, ich wurde wenige Minuten nach meiner Bestellung telefonisch wegen einiger Rückfragen zu meiner Vorlagedatei kontaktiert. Die Schablone wurde dann schneller geliefert als angekündigt. Der erste Test des Stencils war viel besser als ich es bei dem filigranen Motiv erwartet hätte. Alles in allem einfach TOP. Das wird sicherlich nicht die letzte Schablone sein die ich bei Stencil Mafia bestelle. Vielen Dank für den guten Service und die professionelle Umsetzung. Nachtrag: Auch nach mehrfacher Benutzung ein 1a Ergebnis auf Holz.
