Which mounting system is right for my project?

If wiring can be routed through a hollow or stud wall, individual floating spacer mounting is ideal. For solid masonry or outdoor facades, cassettes or carrier raceways ensure concealed cable routing and quick installation.

How does the logo look when turned off?

Thanks to the solid 35mm block acrylic and single-piece CNC milling without glued edges, the logo acts as a high-end 3D sign with a clean white acrylic front and opaque RAL-lacquered returns during daylight hours.

Can the front face be colored?

Yes, in addition to pure white acrylic faces, translucent colored vinyls or digital prints can be applied to match specific corporate brand colors precisely.

Is the front-lit sign suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, our front-lit signs are crafted from weather-resistant, non-yellowing solid acrylic with climate-chamber tested LEDs engineered for long-term outdoor durability.

Who handles the electrical installation?

The signage is delivered ready to operate, including matching certified power supply units. The final connection to the 230V mains grid must be completed by a certified local electrician.

LED Logos & Letters with Front-Facing Light Emission

Q: What happens if an LED fails?

We install commercial-grade LED modules with extended lifespans. Because of the modular construction, individual modules or letters can be serviced or replaced if required.

A front-lit sign is made from solid, opal-white acrylic. The reveals (the side faces of the letter) and the back are coated with a light-tight lacquer, so the light exits exclusively towards the front. The acrylic body diffuses the light from the LEDs inside evenly across the entire face, with no visible hotspots. This type of front-lit construction is also known as Type F or Profile 15.

Individual element mounting with spacers

This mounting method only works if the building allows all individual cables (one per element) to be brought together behind the wall. That is typically only the case with drywall, cavity walls or trade fair stands.

Where it's an option, it's a very elegant one: the elements float completely free and no substructure interrupts the wall surface. Thanks to the proven click mounting system, they can also be removed and repositioned easily. The stand-off from the wall creates a subtle shadow and gives the elements a three-dimensional look even when unlit.

Cassette mounting

With cassette mounting, the logo or letters sit on a flat (5 cm deep) housing finished in a RAL colour.

The biggest advantage: your logo arrives fully pre-assembled and pre-wired, substructure included. Even the power supply is hidden inside the cassette. On site, all that's needed is to align the one- or two-part frame substructure on the wall and screw it into place. The housing with the logo is then simply fitted on top.

Rail mounting

With a mounting rail, all elements are aligned and wired onto a single rail in the workshop. Spacing, baseline and alignment are locked in before the lettering leaves production. That leaves just one alignment step on site: align the rail, and the entire lettering sits exactly where it should.

Finished in the colour of the wall, the rail visually disappears. All that remains visible is the illuminated face. The full wiring runs bundled inside the rail to a single supply cable.

Frequently asked questions

Which mounting system is right for me?

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. The effect comes from how mounting type, wall colour, light colour and surroundings work together. What does the logo look like when it isn't lit?

The face is pure white and matte opal, and the reveals can be lacquered in any RAL shade. Even unlit, the logo reads as a high-quality 3D object, with a clean contour and a calm surface.

Can the face be coloured?

No. We produce front-lit signage exclusively with an opal-white acrylic face, without foiling. Colour comes from the light colour of the LEDs, from warm white to cool white. For a coloured, foiled face, take a look at our side-lit option.

Is front-lit signage suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The closed system is dust- and waterproof to IP67 and built for permanent outdoor installation.

What happens if an LED fails?

Individual LEDs can be replaced. There's no need to remake the letter or the logo.

Who can connect the sign to the mains?

Everything you need for installation is included, power supplies as well: LEDs can't be connected directly to the mains. For the connection to the mains, we always recommend a qualified electrician. If you're unsure, give us a call and we'll go through it together.

5 Sterne und das mehr als zu Recht. Der Kundenservice war richtig gut, ich wurde wenige Minuten nach meiner Bestellung telefonisch wegen einiger Rückfragen zu meiner Vorlagedatei kontaktiert. Die Schablone wurde dann schneller geliefert als angekündigt. Der erste Test des Stencils war viel besser als ich es bei dem filigranen Motiv erwartet hätte. Alles in allem einfach TOP. Das wird sicherlich nicht die letzte Schablone sein die ich bei Stencil Mafia bestelle. Vielen Dank für den guten Service und die professionelle Umsetzung. Nachtrag: Auch nach mehrfacher Benutzung ein 1a Ergebnis auf Holz.
