Can I remove my 3D logo when moving and reuse it?
Yes—relocating or repositioning your 3D logo is generally possible. The easiest option is our click system (mounting with spacers): you can simply unclip the elements and unscrew the spacer sleeves.
With adhesive mounting (pads or film), removal is more involved. We recommend carefully cutting the adhesive bond with a thin line—like fishing line or dental floss—pulled parallel to the wall. However, paint or plaster can come off in the process, and for back-printed materials (e.g., acrylic glass) there is a risk of damaging the print, so extra care is required.
The most difficult to move are logos with permanently bonded studs, typically used outdoors (more secure against theft/vandalism). Because these studs are glued into the masonry with mounting adhesive, removing them requires significant mechanical force.
We recommend keeping the supplied placement templates for later reuse. Contact us if you need a new drilling template printed so your logo fits perfectly at the new location.
What is the “best” material thickness for a balanced 3D effect?
An impressive 3D effect doesn’t come from maximum thickness, but from the right proportion relative to the stroke/line thickness of your logo elements. A large thickness can look bulky and unaesthetic on delicate parts. You don’t need to be a graphics pro for this: upload your design in the free Web2Cut configurator and test different logo sizes and material thicknesses until it looks right in the true-to-scale 3D preview. Don’t worry: before anything goes into production, we always do a design and feasibility check. If something doesn’t work, we’ll contact you—so you’re on the safe side.
Which mounting option is right for my use case?
Choosing the right mounting method depends on the surface and the visual effect you want on site. For a subtle, minimalist 3D look on smooth surfaces such as finely plastered interior walls or metal, a full-surface adhesive film applied to the back is suitable. Adhesive pads, by contrast, compensate for slight unevenness on woodchip wallpaper or plaster (for outdoor use, also use монтажing adhesive). To achieve a stronger 3D effect with more shadow, spacers (click system) can be used. For mounting onto backing boards, threaded rods are the ideal choice. Outdoors, stainless-steel studs are also used instead of the click system; they are bonded into the masonry with монтажing adhesive (better theft protection).
Which materials are the best choice for a high-quality, “established” look?
We recommend 3D logos made from metal or acrylic glass. Brushed or refined metals (also in finishes such as gold or bronze) are a clear signal of timeless, strong branding. Alternatively, acrylic glass is ideal for implementing colored logos with an aesthetic sense of depth.
Which materials are suitable for outdoor use?
For outdoor use, we recommend acrylic glass, aluminum composite (exception: colored, brushed variants such as gold or bronze), stainless steel, corten steel, or our composite material as a base substrate. Absolute Empfehlung! Ich bin wirklich sehr happy mit dem Ergebnis. Das Logo sieht extrem hochwertig aus und macht einen richtig professionellen Eindruck. Wir werden es in den nächsten Tagen im Büro anbringen und freue mich jetzt schon riesig drauf. Auch der Support war top: super schnell, hilfsbereit und lösungsorientiert. Ich hatte nachgefragt, ob die Lieferung noch vor Weihnachten klappt, damit wir das Logo über den Jahreswechsel anbringen können – und tatsächlich ist es sogar noch deutlich vor Weihnachten angekommen. 5 Sterne und das mehr als zu Recht. Der Kundenservice war richtig gut, ich wurde wenige Minuten nach meiner Bestellung telefonisch wegen einiger Rückfragen zu meiner Vorlagedatei kontaktiert. Die Schablone wurde dann schneller geliefert als angekündigt. Der erste Test des Stencils war viel besser als ich es bei dem filigranen Motiv erwartet hätte. Alles in allem einfach TOP. Das wird sicherlich nicht die letzte Schablone sein die ich bei Stencil Mafia bestelle. Vielen Dank für den guten Service und die professionelle Umsetzung. Nachtrag: Auch nach mehrfacher Benutzung ein 1a Ergebnis auf Holz.

Für eine selbst gebaute Uhr bestellte ich eine Schablone, die von einer 16x32-LED-Matrix beleuchtet werden sollte. Die Mitarbeiter von cadout erkannten sofort am Motiv, dass dies keine normale Malerschablone wird, meldeten sich bei mir, berieten mich, unterstützten mich bei der Erstellung des CAD-Modells und empfohlen mir als Material Edelstahl zu nehmen, so dass meine Scrabble-Uhr sehr schön geworden ist.
