All our metal cutouts are manufactured using high-precision lasers. This ensures that the entire design, including the edges, remains even and smooth, creating a uniform appearance and giving your brand an established, professional look.

V2A stainless steel: This is a cold-rolled, acid-resistant 18/10 chromium-nickel steel. It offers high corrosion resistance and, thanks to its weather and UV resistance, is very well suited for outdoor use. It is the standard choice for most applications.

V4A stainless steel: This stainless steel is specifically designed for maritime environments, where greater resistance to saltwater and more aggressive conditions is required.

Both variants can be further refined through additional finishing processes such as grinding or mirror polishing to achieve different visual surface effects.

Depending on the application, desired visual effect, and maintenance requirements, you can choose from a wide range of surface finishes.

Our range includes classic options such as brushed finishes (for example 240-grit, lengthwise brushed), as well as more distinctive variants like Peacock pattern or stainless steel tread plate. For aluminium, clear anodized and black anodized finishes are available, offering a high-quality and durable appearance.

For a particularly refined or striking look, we also offer titanium-coated surfaces, available in either mirror-polished or hairline-brushed finishes. In contrast, pre-rusted surfaces create a deliberately rustic, industrial feel.

Depending on the incidence of light, the effect can range from subtle and matte to highly reflective and dynamic. This allows you to match the appearance of your cutouts precisely to your design and surroundings.
 

We offer two different surface finishes for aluminium: polished aluminium appears more matte compared to stainless steel and creates an even, very appealing look. Clear or black anodized aluminium is treated through a chemical process that forms an oxide layer, providing additional protection against corrosion.

Yes, aluminium offers very good corrosion resistance thanks to its magnesium alloy and protective surface treatments such as anodizing. Stainless steel, especially V4A, is generally considered even more resistant in particularly demanding environments. For most indoor and outdoor applications, however, aluminium is entirely suitable.
 

As a rule, stainless steel cutouts are more expensive than aluminium cutouts. This is due to the higher material costs, greater weight, and more complex processing involved. Aluminium is a more cost-effective alternative, especially for larger designs, while still offering high quality and durability.

Sunlight affects surface finishes in two ways: how strongly they reflect light, and how their appearance holds up over time.

Brushed or matte surfaces reflect light more softly and evenly, so they create less glare and usually appear more restrained in direct sunlight. Mirror-polished and other highly reflective finishes react much more strongly to sunlight, producing sharper reflections and a more dynamic appearance that can shift noticeably depending on the angle of the light.

In terms of durability, UV radiation does not usually damage bare metal itself, but surface treatments and coatings can influence how stable the finish remains over time. Anodized aluminium is particularly well suited for outdoor use because it is UV-resistant and retains its appearance well. Highly polished or coated surfaces can remain visually striking, but they also tend to show fingerprints, dirt, and changing light conditions more clearly.
