Spacer mounting is best for hollow walls where wiring can be hidden. For solid walls or facades, pre-assembled cassettes or carrier rails ensure concealed cable routing and simplified setup.

How far should the letters stand off from the wall?

Spacer lengths are matched to the letter size during production to ensure an even halo spread without harsh light cut-offs.

Does the wall color affect the halo effect?

Light, matte surfaces reflect rear light evenly and enhance the halo effect, while dark backgrounds create sharper silhouette contrast.

How uniform is the rear light projection on the wall?

In the premium acrylic build, LEDs are embedded into milled acrylic channels with built-in diffusers to guarantee dot-free, uniform light emission.

Is a backlit logo suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the solid block acrylic body is hermetically sealed against dust, moisture, and insects, making it fully weather-resistant.

What happens if an LED fails?

Commercial-grade LEDs undergo 24-hour stress tests to minimize failure rates. Individual letters or modules can also be reproduced and replaced if needed.

How does the backlit sign look during the daytime?

With opaque RAL lacquering on the face and returns, the unlit logo looks like a sharp 3D cut-out relief against the wall.

Can I have my custom logo backlit?

Yes, vector files can be uploaded directly to the Web2Cut configurator for immediate 3D visualization and real-time pricing.

LED backlit logos and letters – configure online

The full-acrylic body is lacquered opaque on the front and side faces, so the light exits at the back in the shape of the cut-out. Special embedded LEDs, together with the light-diffusing acrylic body, create a homogeneous light corona on the wall that falls off gradually toward the edges. This type of backlit sign is also known as Type B or Profile 11.

Individual elements on spacers

This mounting method only works when the building allows all the individual cables (one per element) to be brought together behind the wall. Typically that's only the case with drywall or hollow walls, or on exhibition stands.

Where it's possible, it's the most elegant option: the elements float completely free, with no substructure interrupting the light. And thanks to the proven click mounting, they're just as easy to take down and reposition later. The wall distance is set so the light corona sits perfectly around the cut-out.

In addition to through-colored materials, crystal-clear acrylic glass can be digitally printed on the back with any desired color, gradients, or even photographic motifs. This allows for the uncompromising realization of unique brand colors and designs.

An additional layer of white ink provides even more luminosity. It ensures that colors remain vibrant and opaque, allowing your motif to appear exceptionally brilliant and in high resolution through the acrylic glass.

Lacquered Acrylic Glass

In this process, the front and side surfaces are coated with a 2-component, automotive-quality paint.

Color selection in the configurator is based on the RAL color system, but you can also specify your colors using the HKS or Pantone systems (via the comment field in the shopping cart).

As with through-colored materials, each individual element (e.g., a single letter) can only be finished in one color.

How soon will I receive my custom-cut acrylic logo?

The estimated delivery date is displayed directly in the configurator. Standard acrylic glass cuts typically have a lead time of 8 to 10 business days; with express shipping, delivery takes 5 business days or less. Painted versions typically require 22 business days; with express shipping, delivery takes 17 business days. For larger orders or quantities, the production time is calculated in the configurator and may be longer.

Acrylglas vs. Plexiglas: What is the difference?

Acrylic glass is the material designation for a PMMA plastic. PLEXIGLAS® is a well-known brand name for the same material. In everyday language, the two terms are often used interchangeably.

Is acrylic glass recyclable?

Yes. Acrylic glass, or PMMA, is generally recyclable provided it is disposed of properly. Our material suppliers are committed to complying with all EU directives regarding
recycling PMMA.

Can my acrylic logo also be created with color gradients or from photo images?

Yes. With direct UV printing on the back, your acrylic cutout can be customized with multiple colors, color gradients, or even photo images.

Will the spacers be visible through my acrylic glass design?

No, the solid-colored and lacquered materials are completely opaque. For the digitally back-printed panels, we apply an additional layer of white acrylic glass between the print and the spacer to ensure light-tightness.

What thicknesses can I choose for my acrylic glass design?

The available material thicknesses depend on the design and application. In the configurator, you can choose between 3, 6, 8, 10, and 16 mm, as well as sandwich thicknesses such as 6 (4+2) and 12 mm (4+8) for back-printed material.

Can I use my own logo and brand elements?

Yes. With our Web2Cut® configurator, you can turn your digital brand files into physical branding elements such as acrylic logos, letters, and signage. Simply upload your design, customize it, preview it, and order directly online.

5 Sterne und das mehr als zu Recht. Der Kundenservice war richtig gut, ich wurde wenige Minuten nach meiner Bestellung telefonisch wegen einiger Rückfragen zu meiner Vorlagedatei kontaktiert. Die Schablone wurde dann schneller geliefert als angekündigt. Der erste Test des Stencils war viel besser als ich es bei dem filigranen Motiv erwartet hätte. Alles in allem einfach TOP. Das wird sicherlich nicht die letzte Schablone sein die ich bei Stencil Mafia bestelle. Vielen Dank für den guten Service und die professionelle Umsetzung. Nachtrag: Auch nach mehrfacher Benutzung ein 1a Ergebnis auf Holz.
