Acrylic glass, also known under the brand name Plexiglas®, is a thermoplastic with the chemical name polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA for short). The plastic is produced in sheet format in various thicknesses and comes in two variants: extruded (PMMA XT) & cast (PMMA GS).
The material owes its name "glass" to its excellent, brilliant & scratch-resistant surface. It is also highly transparent in its untreated state. Thanks to its weather and UV resistance, acrylic glass is also ideal for outdoor use. We manufacture acrylic glass cuts using a laser cutting process, which results in very clean, slightly shiny cut edges.
In this option, the entire acrylic glass body is homogeneously colored in the selected color. As an alternative to the typical glossy surface, a matt finish can also be selected here. We are limited to the manufacturers' color catalogs, which however offer a large selection, especially regarding the 8 mm thickness.

With this variant, we print a crystal-clear acrylic glass body on the back. The material conducts the color to the surface, where it shines brilliantly. We can reproduce all colors (including gradients) using the digital direct printing process. The colors should be created in the uploaded vector graphic in the CMYK color space. An additional white print is included and increases the luminosity. In the case of spacer mounting, we also finish the printed cuttings with an additional white blank on the back to protect the print and prevent the spacers from showing through.
